Chapter Luncheon Meeting, Wednesday, August 20th, 2008 11:30 a.m.

 

Topic: Using Humor in Safety, Get Your Point Across

Speaker: Tim Page-Bottorff – JoshuaCasey Corporate Training
  • Are your safety and health presentations drab and dreary? Do your employees leaving with more questions unanswered then answered? Spruce them up with a little humor.
  • This presentation will help you preserve the CalOSHA requirements by making them stick, and ensuring that the requirements don’t go through one ear and out the other (or many ears). The presenter will show video clips that can make an emotional impact on any employee. There will be emotional ups and downs to show the audience that people react differently to changing workplace hazards.
  • This presentation will also provide information on taking safety home and how safety impacts more than just the workplace---it affects the family.

Time: Registration & Networking 11:30am. Meeting begins promptly at noon.

Place: Wyndham Anaheim Park Hotel, 222 W. Houston Ave., Fullerton, CANorth of the 91 Freeway off of Harbor Blvd.

Cost: $30 for members with reservations and their guests. $35 for unaccompanied non-members and members without reservations.

2007-2008 Chapter Star Award Presented at July’s Meeting

Bob served as OCASSE’s President for the 2006-2007 chapter year.

 

We are fortunate to benefit from Bob’s continued leadership in this, our 9th consecutive year of receiving the award.  Bob uses his practice specialties in both Safety Management and Hospitality as Manager of Safety for Disneyland Resorts.
